These are the programs you can export from:

Excel, Outlook, Word and Access

The first thing is to input the names and email addresses you want into the program.

This is done via a CSV form, which must have the names of the fields you are trying to enter on the top line
and then the details under, with no line separating the title from the contents.

This is best achieved by having the information in an Excel format or in Outlook,
both of which can export the information into a CSV (Comma Separated) File.

In Outlook: go to Export a File -> create a file of type “Comma Separated Values (Dos)” ->Select your file (e.g. Contacts) and export it.

Access reports can be saved to Excel files first and then this file can be converted into CSV, but make sure you don’t have a line
between the Name and the Details as this will stop the program from working.

Word Documents can be saved as .txt files and these can then be opened by Excel and subsequently saved as CSV (Comma Separated) files.

Input Program

If you are trying to insert your address book into a program, you will need a field called ‘Type’ to show whether the entry is a Person or a Company.
When you have saved a CSV file, you can open it with Excel and insert the extra ‘Type’ field into the table
and enter Person or Company against each entry, depending which type it is.

When you have your CSV files ready, open the Input Program and open ‘Help’ to see what to do.
